Requirements
What every listing and every order needs
Used OEM only
Original parts removed from a donor vehicle. Undeployed, no open recall, never aftermarket, replica or rebuilt. You attest to all four on each listing.
Donor VIN + proof of origin
Each part carries the 17-character donor VIN and an uploaded proof-of-origin document — auction invoice, title or bill of sale — kept on file.
4+ photos of the actual part
At least 4 photos per listing (up to 12): connector, label with part number, cover or housing, and any marks. Stock photos are not allowed.
Ground shipping, continental US
UPS or FedEx Ground for hazmat categories; USPS Ground Advantage only for non-hazmat parts. No Alaska, Hawaii, territories or PO boxes.
Tracking on every order
Enter a valid tracking number within your handling time. Orders not shipped by the ship-by date can be cancelled and refunded automatically.
Sales invoice with the VIN before payout
Upload your sales invoice to the buyer, showing the donor VIN, from the order page. Payouts wait until it is on file.

Fees & payouts
One final value fee. No listing fees.
The fee is 15% of the item price plus the shipping the buyer paid, with a $1.00 minimum, and it already covers card and PayPal processing. Sales tax is collected and remitted by the marketplace where it applies and is never part of your payout.
How payouts work
- 1Connect your bank through Stripe Connect Express in the Seller Hub — a few minutes, once.
- 2When an order is delivered (carrier scan, buyer confirmation, or automatically 21 days after shipping), a payout is scheduled for 48 hours later.
- 3If no case is open and your sales invoice is on file, the payout is transferred to your Stripe account and on to your bank. The Seller Hub shows exactly what each payout is waiting on.
- 4Refunds issued after a payout are recovered from your next payouts, so chargebacks never need a separate payment from you.

Questions sellers ask first
Who can sell on e-airbags.com?
Commercial automotive businesses only: salvage and auto-recycling yards, licensed dismantlers, collision and repair shops, dealerships and parts resellers. Staff verify every applicant's business documents before the account can list. Personal accounts are not accepted.
What does it cost?
There are no listing fees and no monthly fees. When a part sells, the platform keeps 15% of the item price plus shipping (minimum $1.00) and the rest is your payout. Payment processing is included in that fee.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are released 48 hours after delivery is confirmed by the carrier scan or the buyer, provided no case is open on the order and the sales invoice with the donor VIN has been uploaded. Money moves to your bank through Stripe Connect; most banks post it in 1–2 business days.
Why does every part need a donor VIN?
Buyers, insurers and shops need to know exactly which vehicle an airbag came out of, and your proof-of-origin document (auction invoice, title or bill of sale) is what shows the part was lawfully acquired. The VIN also appears on the sales invoice the buyer receives, which is why it is required before payout.
Can I list aftermarket, rebuilt or deployed airbags?
No. Only used OEM parts removed from a documented donor vehicle, undeployed and with no open recall, may be listed. Aftermarket, replica, counterfeit, deployed, rebuilt or recalled units are prohibited and lead to removal of the listing and the account.
How does shipping work?
You ship by ground to continental US addresses only, within the handling time you set, and enter the tracking number on the order. Airbag modules, inflators and pyrotechnic pretensioners are Class 9 hazmat (UN3268) and go UPS Ground or FedEx Ground only; USPS will not accept them. Hazmat compliance is the seller's responsibility.
What happens if a buyer opens a case?
The payout is paused while staff review the case with both sides. If the buyer is refunded, the refund comes out of the held payment. If the payout was already released, the amount is recovered from your next payouts.
Can I sell mail-in services?
Yes. Verified shops can list SRS module crash-data resets and seat belt or pretensioner rebuilds. The buyer pays through the site, ships the unit to you, and you ship it back with tracking; you are paid after the return leg is delivered.
