Payments
You always pay e-airbags.com — never the seller directly. That is what makes the payment hold and buyer protection possible.
Ways to pay
- Cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, processed by Stripe.
- Apple Pay and Google Pay — on devices and browsers that support them, also through Stripe.
- PayPal — pay with your PayPal balance, bank or a card in your PayPal account.
Card numbers are entered on Stripe's or PayPal's secure forms and never touch e-airbags.com's servers. The seller sees your name and shipping address so they can ship — nothing about how you paid.
What you are charged
The item price, the shipping charge shown on the listing, and sales tax where it applies. There are no buyer fees. If your cart holds parts from several sellers, you pay once and each seller's parts become a separate order with its own shipment and tracking.
Is the seller paid at checkout?
No. Your payment is held by the marketplace until the part has arrived and your case window has passed, and it stays on hold while a case is open. Delivery is confirmed by the carrier's scan, by you from your order page, or automatically 21 days after shipping. See Buyer protection.
Reserved parts and payment failures
Because every part is unique, a part is reserved for you while you check out and becomes yours when the payment is confirmed. If a payment fails or a checkout is abandoned, the reservation is released after a few minutes so someone else can buy the part. Confirmation and your receipt arrive by email as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Refunds
Refunds — for a cancelled order, a case decided in your favor or an accepted return — go back to the original payment method, including the sales tax on the refunded amount. Issuers usually post them within 5–10 business days; PayPal refunds are typically faster.
Sales tax
e-airbags.com is a marketplace facilitator and collects and remits sales tax on orders shipped to states that require it. Tax is calculated at checkout from your shipping address. If your business holds a resale or exemption certificate, contact support with the certificate before ordering; exemptions cannot be applied after an order is placed.
Receipts and invoices
Your receipt from e-airbags.com shows what you paid, including tax. The sales invoice for the part, which identifies the donor vehicle's VIN, is issued by the seller and attached to your order once the part has shipped — download it from My e-airbags › Purchases.
Security
Never pay a seller outside e-airbags.com, by any method, for a part listed here. Off-marketplace payments have no hold and no buyer protection, and a seller who asks for one is breaking the seller agreement — please report it to support@e-airbags.com.
